My HubSpot connection keeps disconnecting on its own

The HubSpot integration shows Disconnected repeatedly even after you reconnect it. Background syncs stop and CRM data goes stale. This is almost always an OAuth token expiry or revocation issue.

You reconnect HubSpot, syncs run for a day or two, then the connection card flips back to Disconnected and syncs stop pulling CRM data. Reconnecting temporarily fixes it, but the problem returns.

Why this happens

HubSpot OAuth refresh tokens can be revoked in several ways: a HubSpot portal admin disconnected or uninstalled the app from within HubSpot, the connected HubSpot user's password was changed, the HubSpot portal was migrated to a new account, or the app was revoked from HubSpot's Connected Apps settings page. When the refresh token is revoked, Revenue Proven cannot silently re-authorize and marks the connection as disconnected.

How to fix it

  • Log into HubSpot as a Super Admin and go to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps.
  • Find Revenue Proven in the list. If it shows a revoked or error status, click Disconnect to clear the stale entry.
  • Return to Revenue Proven > Settings > Connections and click Connect HubSpot.
  • Complete the HubSpot OAuth flow using a HubSpot account that has at least Sales Access permissions.
  • After reconnecting, trigger a manual sync from the Connections page to confirm data flows.
  • To prevent recurring disconnects, avoid revoking the app from within HubSpot and notify your team before changing the password of the account used for the integration.
