My CSV or PDF export is empty or failing to download
You clicked export but the downloaded CSV is empty, the PDF is blank, or the download never starts. This is usually a filter mismatch or a browser permission issue blocking the download.
You clicked the export button on the attribution table, campaign analytics, or ads report, but the downloaded file is empty, contains only headers with no rows, or the download fails to start entirely.
Why this happens
An empty CSV export usually means the current filter or date range produced no rows to export. An export that does not start may mean your browser blocked the file download, or a network timeout occurred while generating the file on the server. PDF exports for scheduled reports also require an active sync to have run recently.
How to fix it
- Before exporting, confirm the table on screen shows actual rows. If the table is empty under the current filters, the export will also be empty.
- Change the date range filter to Last 90 days or Last 180 days to broaden the data set, then try the export again.
- Check your browser download settings to ensure it is not blocking file downloads from Revenue Proven. Some corporate browsers require you to allow downloads from each domain.
- Disable pop-up blockers temporarily, as some export flows use a secondary download window.
- For PDF exports of scheduled reports, make sure the associated report schedule is Active and a sync has run since you last changed the metric selection.
- Try the export in a different browser (Chrome or Firefox) to rule out a browser-specific issue.
- If the download starts but the file is corrupted or unreadable, try downloading again; this can indicate a temporary server timeout during generation.
Still stuck?
Contact support and describe which export type (CSV, PDF, or scheduled report) is failing. We can run the export server-side and email the file to you directly as a workaround while we investigate.
