What does the sync pipeline do and how often does it run?
The sync pipeline pulls LinkedIn ad engagement and CRM data on a configurable schedule, then runs matching and attribution to update your dashboard within minutes of completion.
The sync pipeline is a multi-phase background process that collects data from LinkedIn and your CRM, matches companies across both systems, and recalculates attribution results. By default it runs once per day and can also be triggered manually from the dashboard.
What happens during each sync
Each sync runs approximately 25 phases in sequence. It starts with campaign discovery, then pulls company-level engagement from the LinkedIn Ad Analytics API across five lookback windows (7, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days). It then pulls your CRM companies and deals, runs matching, recalculates attribution, and prefetches audience data for the Audience Explorer.
- Campaign search: discovers all campaigns for your connected ad account
- Org ID pull: retrieves company-level engagement data per lookback window
- Org lookup: resolves LinkedIn organization IDs to company names and domains
- CRM pull: imports companies, deals, and pipeline stages from HubSpot or Salesforce
- Matching: links LinkedIn organizations to CRM companies
- Attribution: calculates influenced pipeline and revenue figures
Sync schedule and manual triggers
By default, a daily sync runs automatically in the background once per day. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the Connections page. The dashboard shows the status of the most recent sync job, including which phase it is in and when it last completed. Syncs are resumable, so if one is interrupted it will pick up from where it left off on the next run.
